This is a program that I have laboured for months and months on to get right
You can choose what figure you put in for many different areas that you can change to suit yourself (different types of income & expenses). Then you enter what period of time it is for & the program does the rest -telling you what it works out to be over different time periods and if you have a surplus or shortfall (colour coded)
You could stop there or you could continue to use the 'cashflow' part of the file. As you may know, cash flow is important because you may have enough over a year to cover all your expenses but if a lot of a big item is coming up sooner than the income to cover it then you may not have enough to pay for it yet. This part helps you plan for this
You could stop there or you could use the 'bank accounts' part of the file which helps you keep track of incomings and outgoings of different accounts (if you have them)
You could use the 'debts' part of the file which helps you keep track of how much you are paying off debts and when you can expect to have it paid off completely
You could use it to keep track of money you are putting aside ('saving') for certain things (allocations) as well
However far you want to go in managing your budget. This program can do it for you with easy to follow instructions
